Admission procedure

We are still accepting applications in some of our classes for the 2019-2020 school year although our formal application deadline is past. Please contact us to check availability in the different year groups for a mid-year admission.

We still have a few vacancies for the 2019-2020 school year. Please contact us for more information. Applications for the 2020-2021 school year should be received between January and April 6th 2020.

Please contact our principal in order to arrange a meeting if you wish to enroll your child for the coming school year. An initial assessment in English and Maths will be scheduled for students entering at the primary and middle school level. Please contact the principal for more information on admissions.

We accept students from 2 years old until Year 10 (grade 9; 3ème). Malherbe International School has an open admissions policy and accepts applications throughout the academic year. We look forward to meeting future students and their family.

You may contact our Principal:

We will request previous school records for secondary school and primary students, as well as a letter of recommendation from the current class teacher; admission will be subject to evaluation of the student’s level. For admission into one of our pre-primary classes, we do not require a formal evaluation of the child’s English level, although an interview with the Principal is strongly recommended in order to discuss each individual case.

Our small class size enables the school to accommodate many educational backgrounds and can be tailored in some circumstances to give extra support if necessary. This also includes varying academic levels.

Decisions about the admission of children with special educational needs are taken by the Principal based on the extent to which the school is able to meet the student’s needs. Individual assessments are required for these students and often the school will request a recent Educational Psychologist’s report to ensure that the school can meet the student’s needs.
