Malherbe International School is situated in tranquil park surroundings. It is located in a 19th century residence, which has been adapted to make a pleasant learning environment with bright, well-resourced classrooms.
The school has a library and computer room, as well as a science lab fully equipped for lab practice. Primary students have their meals in the cafeteria.
Our main building houses 9 classes for children aged 2 to 11, among which 4 Montessori preschool and nursery classes, and 5 primary classes.
In September 2019, the school extended into the neighbouring property, thus adding a large garden to our outside space as well as two bright classrooms, and a music room.
We are very privileged to have a vast playground for use of the nursery and primary students, including a large sandbox area, a climbing frame, a slide and a football area. The students also regularly enjoy the large garden in front of the school annex and have been putting their gardening skills to practice, growing their own vegetables!
We are also proud to own five hens, which eat the leftover food from the cafeteria. All classes take turns caring for the chickens, feeding them, and collecting their eggs. This is a great way to make the children environmentally conscious and to limit waste by using our leftovers.
