Admission Procedure

Admissions are now open for the 2025-2026 school year!

Admissions for the 2025-2026 school year are open. We are still receiving applications past our application deadline and will review files based on availability.

You may download our application package below and return it completed to the Principal for review.

We do not have any admission requirements for children entering at the pre-primary level (born between 2023 and 2021).

An initial assessment in English and Maths may be requested for students entering at the primary level.

Please contact the principal for more information on admissions.

We accept students from 2 years old (or turning 2 before December for a September intake) until Year 6 (grade 5; CM2).

The school year runs from early September to early July.

Malherbe International School has an open admissions policy and accepts applications throughout the academic year. We still have spaces in some of our classes for a mid-year admission. We look forward to meeting future students and their families.

Our current tuition fees are detailed here.

Children hoping to join the Spanish section program for 3-5 year olds must have a Spanish language background.

We will request previous school records for primary students, as well as a recommendation form from the current class teacher; admission will be subject to evaluation of the student’s level. For admission into one of our pre-primary classes, we do not require a formal evaluation of the child’s English level, although an interview with the Principal is recommended in order to discuss each individual case.

Our small class size enables the school to accommodate many educational backgrounds and can be tailored in some circumstances to give extra support if necessary. This also includes varying academic levels.

Decisions about the admission of children with special educational needs are taken by the Principal based on the extent to which the school is able to meet the student’s needs. Individual assessments are required for these students and often the school will request a recent Educational Psychologist’s report to ensure that the school can meet the student’s needs.
